halo is an ambient home hub that replaces the cluttered smart speaker with a single, sculptural object. a softly glowing crown shows time, weather and voice activity at a glance, then fades away when it isn’t needed.
the form was developed through dozens of clay and foam studies to find a shape that feels calm on a shelf and natural to touch. one seam line divides the matte shell from the glass crown, hiding the speaker and microphones behind it.
the result is a device that blends into the home rather than demanding attention, while keeping lights, music and routines one touch away.

smart speakers have become essential, but most look like technology dropped into a living room. people wanted the convenience of a home assistant without a glowing gadget dominating the shelf, or a screen that is always on.

01 visual clutter :
most hubs add hard plastic, logos and bright leds to carefully styled rooms.
02 always-on screens :
displays that never sleep feel intrusive at night and pull attention during the day.
03 hidden controls :
touch zones are hard to find, so people fall back to shouting at the device.
