tune is a desk audio dial that puts music, calls and focus sounds under a single turn. a knurled aluminium crown with a round display sits on a frosted shell that keeps the electronics on show.
the crown was weighted and machined until every detent felt precise, and the clear housing turns the circuit board into part of the design. one burnt-orange key handles play, pause and mute without looking.
the result is a small, honest object that replaces a row of on-screen sliders, keeping sound one reach away and the screen free for work.

volume and playback controls are buried in menus, shortcuts and tiny on-screen sliders, so adjusting sound mid-task breaks focus. the brief was a tactile, beautiful controller that makes sound, playback and calls effortless at the desk.

01 buried controls :
volume and playback hide behind menus, shortcuts and tiny on-screen sliders.
02 no tactile feedback :
trackpads and touch panels make fine adjustments imprecise and unsatisfying.
03 desk clutter :
most controllers are bulky plastic boxes that look out of place on a considered desk.
